Sharing … a little family history on ESP … your Dad had the gift of ESP and I have the gift of ESP … we were working on the “Zig Murder Case”
and your Dad called me … he was all excited … he was driving from your house in Houston over to the coast … drove that way all the time …
never saw this before … he saw a big HAWK sitting on a fence post along the side of the road … the murderer in the Zig Case … his nickname
was HAWK.  Seeing the HAWK was very significant to your Dad … God put the HAWK there as a sign that HAWK committed the murder.

Some people would write this off as just a coincidence … your Dad did not think it was a coincidence … I did not think it was a coincidence.

God works in mysterious ways.

FOUR  FAMOUS  QUOTES:

  1. Albert Einstein wrote, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
  2. Clarence Hall wrote, “The problem is not that we have exhausted our frontiers. The problem is that we fail to recognize them! And as our vision shortens, our pessimism deepens.”
  3. Dr. Charles Stanley, In Touch Ministries always says, “Listen.”
  4. Rev. Billy Graham said, “God is always talking to us.  All we have to do is learn to listen.”

“The great Christian Psychic Edgar Cayce who died in 1945, said we all have ESP … some learned to develop and use this ability better than others. It is my perception that we can train military/law enforcement personnel to develop our Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) abilities in order to search out EVIL, and terrorists and prevent terrorist attacks.  My conclusion is that God is alive and well and active and all ESP is working with/through the Power of the Holy Spirit and that power can be intensified to work for us to defeat terrorism, prevent a Nuclear 911, prevent a Civil War on American soil, and prevent the overthrow of the United States Government.”  —R. Encounter with the Holy Spirit in the Old Iron River Cemetery + Who murdered Zig?  +

Frank Andler, Sr.   + Sermon by Dr. Charles Stanley (Jan. 31, 2010) + MASS at St. Joseph’s Church

I am up to my ears in grant work but I wanted to write this down while it was fresh in my mind.  I am going to write all these details down because I am still trying to understand how to work with the Holy Spirit.  Dr. Charles Stanley preaches, “Obey God and leave all the consequences to him.”  … Thoughts from January 31, 2010.  I got up in the morning at 5 a.m. and did some grant work … did some chores … went out and fed the ducks … watched Dr. Charles Stanley on In Touch Ministries … went to 11 a.m. Mass with my wife Shirley … visited with friends … went to brunch with 2 other friends … came home … did more chores … relaxed … ate supper … worked on Sudoku … relaxed … did a little computer work … relaxed … watched 60 minutes … started watching one more TV program … fell asleep.

During all this time … from the morning on I was thinking about Zig’s murder case and the Holy Spirit encounter in the old Iron River Cemetery.

I was motivated by the Sermon by Dr. Charles Stanley which was partially about the Holy Spirit working in our lives in different ways.  That Sermon is attached.

For 50 + years I have been attempting to figure out all of my ESP experiences.  The conclusion is that God is alive, well and active and we work through the Holy Spirit.  Dr. Charles Stanley talks about “Promptings from the Holy Spirit” among other things.

VERY  SIGNIFICANT …  I was thinking for some time there was no way to prove that Hawk, Sr. murdered Zig and then I remembered something that I forgot about in the encounter in the old Iron River Cemetery.  I remember it was a nice sunny day when I walked up the road going North from the area of my grandparents graves (Zukowski) … I perceived two voices … men’s voices … One said, “Who is that?”  The other replied, “That’s Zuke’s grandson.”  At this point in time I am not responding … I am hearing at a different level … the ESP level … Spirit Level.  I wonder if Spirits are aware that sometimes people can hear them.  Sometimes the Holy Spirit allows communications between the two worlds.

I walked up the road … there was a car sitting off to the side on a side-road … a man was sitting in the car … the car was facing East … looking towards me … as I started to walk back South on the N/S road towards my car that was parked down by my grandparents grave I perceived the following message, “There is a man in that grave over there with ___ bullet holes in him.”  I looked at a particular spot.  I was given the number of bullet holes … I cannot remember the exact number at this time.  I hesitated … this was very unusual … I am perceiving that a man is in the grave over here on my left … not too far from the road with bullet holes in him … his grave is next to two other graves … somehow the graves are connected … his parents? … no tombstones … I am trying to picture in my mind the tombstones … I get a clear picture of the tombstones … two large … one small … very old looking weathered stones … the dates … years are clear … I keep thinking I should write all of this down … take the note to the car sitting there with the man inside … when he rolls the driver’s window down a half inch … I slip the note inside … the note will scare the hell out of him … the friendly Spirit is trying to convince me to do exactly what I am thinking … I am starting to question all of this and wonder what is going on here?  This has never happened before.  I was going for a quiet walk and now I perceive this.  Thinking about the bullet holes and the deceased … I perceive from the Spirit … “You know who the killer is.”  I am searching through my mind looking for a killer name but I can’t find one.   I cannot find a killer in my memory from my hometown area.  How on earth would I know this?  This happened a long time ago … before I was born.  The Spirit is insistent that I know the killer.  I am having a debate with a Spirit and the Spirit is insistent that that I know who the killer is.  This is a heavy point.  This thought just does not disappear.  Heavy thinking on my part going through all of the names from my past.  I cannot come up with a person … a name … I do not know any killers … murderers.  I come to a dead end.  I put it out of my mind.

Years later … We have Hawk, Sr. as a suspect.  The gun buried near our house.  Witnesses, including me,  of an angry, violent, out of control, mean spirited drunk.  In later years, when he was sober and had given up drinking, when we worked together at Angeli’s, on one cold winter night when I was helping him burn boxes out back at the incinerator, Hawk’s confession to me that he would never ever go to Heaven because of something he did in the past as a young man.  Hawk was very adamant that he would never ever go to Heaven.  God would never forgive him.  I told Hawk that God would forgive him if he was truly sorry and he confessed his sin.  (In later years I got to know Hawk … 1960-1963 … when we worked at Angeli’s Super Value grocery store on U.S. 2 in downtown Iron River.)  Hawk would have been about 16 at the time of Zig’s murder.

January 31, 2010 … I remember … “You know who the killer is.”  Over 11 years later (not sure of the exact year in the encounter in the cemetery … one of my trips to Michigan) … I remember this fact.  Very significant.  It brings everything together.  God is alive and well and active.  Ray Bisque wrote the book … and I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit in the Old Iron River Cemetery that pointed to the man that Ray was looking for … the man that murdered Zig.

I believe Frank Andler, Sr. murdered Zig.  This belief is because of the encounter with the Holy Spirit in the old Iron River Cemetery about the time Ramon E. Bisque was writing his book “Iron.”

BIBLE … All things will be made known … revealed … You cannot hide anything from God.

That evening, the evening after the Spirit encounter in the old Iron River Cemetery, I was having pizza in Riverside Pizza on U.S. 2.  I looked across the pizza place … the man who was at the Old Cemetery was seated with a woman having a pizza.  They both had a serious looks on their faces.  I was sure that he was aware that I was there looking at him.  Today I wonder if it was Zig’s grandson, Ray Bisque, in the Cemetery and at Riverside Pizza.

Question:  Was the man who was sitting in the car the trigger (stimulus) for this ESP experience?

So, what do we do now?   Where does the story go from here?

Sermon Outline

Energized by His Presence

Charles F. Stanley

Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20

I. Introduction: When was the last time you felt God’s presence in a special way?

You may have experienced Him at church, while witnessing to a friend, or during a time of prayer. Or perhaps you were going through a difficult situation and had to rely totally on His strength. In moments like these, the Lord reveals His power in a unique way. Having an awareness of His presence energizes us to overcome adversity and advance His kingdom. With the Lord’s guidance and power, we can gain victory in any trial.

II. How can we describe the presence of God?

A. The Creator is everywhere, but He is not present in all places in the same way. For instance, He is in creation, but creation is not Him. And God is always with followers of Christ, but sometimes He manifests Himself to believers in special ways.

B. Can we adequately define the presence of the Lord? No. But we can describe the experience as “God revealing Himself by His Spirit to our spirit for the specific purpose of encouraging us, enabling us, energizing us, informing us or warning us.”

III. What role does the Holy Spirit play?

A. He indwells the believer from the moment of salvation (Rom. 8:9).

B. His purpose is to empower, teach, and reveal the meaning of Scripture.

C. The Spirit enables us to become more like Christ in our attitudes and actions (Rom. 8:29).

D. Apart from the Holy Spirit, we can’t fellowship with God or experience His power working through us.

IV. How did the Lord operate in the past?

A. The Father revealed His presence to Moses through the burning bush (Ex. 3:1-21).

B. Joshua saw the Lord in the form of a warrior. God revealed how to conquer Jericho with supernatural strategy rather than military tactics (Josh. 5:13-6:5).

C. God appeared to Gideon to encourage him. Otherwise, with only 300 men, the leader would have lacked confidence to organize an attack against the Midianites (Judg. 6:11-13Judg. 7:1-25).

D. Isaiah saw the Lord sitting on His heavenly throne. Because he was aware of God’s presence, the prophet was willing to take on a very difficult task—warning rebellious Israel of the coming judgment (Isa. 6:1-8).

E. God met with Jeremiah. God’s presence empowered Jeremiah to proclaim Judah’s disobedience and call them to repentance (Jer.1:9, 19).

F. Peter was strengthened by Christ’s presence. When he was with Jesus, the disciple walked on water and defended the Lord against Roman soldiers (Matt. 14:26-29; 26:50-51). But away from the Savior, Peter denied knowing Him (Matt. 26:69-75).

G. Paul saw Jesus on his way to Damascus. If the apostle hadn’t known the presence of God, he would not have continued to preach the gospel in the face of beatings, imprisonment, and persecution (Acts 9:3-5).

V. How does the presence of God energize us?

A. We are motivated to live godly lives. Being in the presence of the universe’s awesome Creator inspires us to make righteous choices.

B. His presence empowers us to overcome challenges. David knew Jehovah would defend His name and give him the victory against Goliath (1 Sam. 17:45-47).

C. Experiencing His presence reminds us of how He worked in the past. As we recall biblical examples of His faithfulness, we have supernatural peace and confidence in every situation.

D. We gain His perspective. God revealed to Elisha’s servant that angelic warriors out numbered King Aram’s army (2 Kings 6:11-17). The Lord’s presence helps us see life from His viewpoint.

VI. Conclusion: Do you want to intimately experience the Lord’s presence? If so, I challenge you to pray, “Father, I want to submit to Your perfect control of my life. Reveal Yourself to me in any way You choose.” My friend, the Lord wants to satisfy you with His presence and use you in exciting ways. Don’t miss one of life’s greatest blessings—learning to live in the knowledge that He is always with you.
